About Me
CURRENT MISSION:
To make an awesome 'Spaghetti Shrimpalicious'
ABOUT ME
At the moment, I live with my wife in Central London (near Canary Wharf). Both of us work in the city but we're happy to host you for a night or two in our spare bed room. :) My web page: www.ravi-jay.com
--------- Below is from my student days; goofy and some might find funny ---------
----------------------------- Batteries not included -----------------------------------------
(If you are an Erasmus student visiting Gothenburg, let me know if you have difficulties in finding accommodation at one of the student hostels. I could probably help you out. Wondered what it was like for Erasmus 2009? http://blindteddybear.blogspot.com/)
I'm so glad you clicked on the Info page, even though it was probably by accident. I'll try my best to make your visit to my profile page totally worth your while.
So, the highlights. If you think someone cannot be defined by 5 bullets, I challenge you to read and see if you don't feel like we've known each other our whole lives.
1) I'm totally unlike any other IT guy in that I'm a young adult male. I come from Kerala, which is approximately 1543 Kms from anywhere Useful, Mumbai. We used to have a cricket team, but I think they all died in a horrible KMML explosion or something.
2) I'm pretty much as smart as the guy in Good Will Hunting. What's that? Good Will Hunting, ya. The movie where the guy gets repeatedly outsmarted by a bear. Oh, really? Oh, oh, that was The Edge. Never saw Good Will Hunting.
2 ) Now, why do you think i have two two's in my list? By the time you've figured that out, you'd know why I chose the nickname 'blindteddybear' as well. Give it a shot or Google it!
4) I go to three parties a week and usually host a Party twice or thrice every month. The invite is for everyone and I've spent more and more money each month making sure the next party is a more amazing event. Recently it has attracted some pretty high profile people. For example, at the last party, security from all over the area came over and said that they wanted to be only one's partying. Kinda selfish of them, but since i'm a nice guy and all, i asked everyone else to leave and let the security and the cops have their way. I think you get the message. I'm kind of a big deal.
5) My name is Ravi Jay, and I always try to remain calm and positive. But since I need some release at times. I play soccer , beach volleyball and guitar, and when I get some free time, I like to 'pretend' to study for my Masters degree at Middlesex University.
So, that's a little about me. But I want to hear more about you. So tell me a lit- oh, sorry my phone is ringing. OOOH, I have to take that, it's my accountant- apparently my finances broke his calculator. Something about an integer underflow error.
Later!
P.S:
It is nice to be nice. I like having a conversation and sharing a meal. You are not obliged to take either but like I said, it would be nice if you are spending some time with the person who has just opened the doors of their home for you and will probably spend sleepless nights listening to you snore at night.
If you have read and understood this, please go here:http://blindteddybear.blogspot.com/p/behind-screen.html and scroll down for the password. Add it somewhere in your couch request. That is the magic word that will get an "accept" for your request!
P.S: If you have done it, you cannot claim to not know me ;)
P.S: Why is P.S called Post Script anyway?
P.S: I like to have an even number of P.S's. ^^
PHILOSOPHY
If you know how to smile like you mean it; if you can give me a genuine smile; I probably already like you. =)
Oh and I love cookies and chocolate.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1) I have bungee jumped twice. Once from 90m and once from the top of Macau Tower 233m. That was scary.
True Story.
2) I once saw a crow fly upside down. [ It is !1 ]
If you get this, we will have intellectual/scientific conversations as well.
3) I, once (in July 2011) went to a secret forest party (ssshhh) quite spontaneously. I came back next day at about 11AM with no t-shirt and silver nail polish on ALL of my toe nails. I still do not remember how that happened! Not to mention, everyone in the tube were giving me the stink-eye -- which was easy to ignore seeing that I was pretending to be passed out.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am from Kerala, India.
I think very deep and emotional(at times).
I was a part time masseur when i was going to school in India. I am out of practice though.
I have a degree in Artificial Intelligence so I can make you think or not make you think at all. Then again, I recently completed a Master in Business Administration in London; so one thing I can assure you, me being a recent ex-student and all, you would have had a good time even if you think or don't think.
True Story.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A couch, a nice meal cooked by my wife (she makes spicy food), maybe a movie night (we have a projector) and some good times.
