About Me

I am a relaxed person who likes to talk about all kinds of things.. such as history, politics, but also culinarian niceties, interesting cultural habits that serve for some good stories and interesting travels.
it is no overstatement when I say I am quite hedonistic, so I enjoy good conversations, however, sometimes I just feel more dancing than talking and appreciate folks who are open enough to join the fun.
Nevertheless I like also other social niceties ( a word which I am famous for within my circle of friends) like cooking and such... unfortunately I don't make it to the theater often, but I generally also like such stuff.
Although from the German South, i lived in the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Sri Lanka and now I am living in Berlin already for a while , somewhat around 4 years and I like it here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meting people... I like the diversity of people one often encounters on travels or in a vibrant and diverse place as Berlin... While I was in Belfast I had some good couch surfing experiences. Music, Movies, and Books

I like techno music, however, it's usually nicest mixed with some oriental melodies which bring spice to the joy, but usual techno is also fun.
In addition I like rabetica and similar kinds of music, actually I also listen to other stuff like Victor Jara.

One of our (my flamate) favorite movies is Buffalo 66.

When it comes to books I like the classic big novels and Micheal Ondatje, however, I usually pretend to be more knowledgeable about literature that I actually am. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i guess all my travels to Asia have been amazing for me some way or the other...

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always keen on learning about things that give spice to life, so if you can mix knowledge with a good story I'll be always up for that, but I also always try to expand my culinarian skills.
Probably I will never be able to play an instrument, but I will be thankful for everyone who tries to teach or just shares the plain sound of his/her instrument.
