One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
woooow there r soo many
I guess my trips to Africa were the most amazing things I have lived so far in my life
'the most amazing thing' is not always what we did
but also what we were shown or taught
my friend there - that I was meeting for the first time - simply spent all his savings in order to buy me
a pillow, a mosquito net and a gas lamp.
next morning, when I got my breakfast:
a quarter of a French baguette - white French type bread is kind a luxury thing in Africa -
an eighth part of a butter package and
a small tin of instant coffee produced in Ivory Coast - the only available -
I understood that, that breakfast
was something they would have never been able to afford, for sure it cost them a lot,
but the main things was that I had to feel comfortable.
Africa has tought me a lot,
in two months spent there I may have learnt
more than in 20 years in Europe.
it's just what I'm feeling
the most amazing thing I've seen was
the African way to welcome people!
Teach, Learn, Share
whenever I had guests or I was a guest myself I tried to share things with people around and that's also how I learned so many things , pretty sure about that
