Overview
About Me
I like going to plays and musicals. I love reading Michael Chabon. When I am driving across the country I listen to David Baldacci novels. I really enjoy spending time in great old book stores (there are four amazing ones in New Orleans). I like coffee and breakfast. I try really hard to keep up an exercise regimen, but I fail at that often. I love going out to great restaurants for really good food.
Don't bring any illegal substance into my home. I live next door to the District Attorney. I'm not going to be "cool with it." I'll be uncomfortable and I will want to ask you to leave. I refuse to risk my home and my job for other people's decisions.

Music, Movies, and Books
Michael Chabon's "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay"; "The Yiddish Policeman's Union" and Plato's "Symposium"
I like acapella music, I like listening to musicals (Hamilton" and "Jelly's Last Jam"
I also love listening to the live music that is played everywhere in the French Quarter.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Directing and producing "Romeo and Juliet" and a very small economically impoverished city in Georgia, and having the cast and audience fall in love with Shakespeare.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll discuss the politics of race, class and gender until I get answers or theories that I think make sense. I spend a lot of time reading news about the unsatisfactory ways we deal with the politics of race in America.
I would love to learn to appreciate great symphonies. I already love attending modern, jazz, and ballet performances.
I can share my relationships with some of the best chefs in New Orleans. Not the ones the tourists fawn over. Other ones.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a really good conversationalist and I love to cook. I'm particularly good at cooking Italian food.
