Overview
About Me
Australian who quit his job to start a travel and self-improvement business and live in Europe the next 1-2 years.
I love Travel, Yoga, Cooking, Photography, Outdoors, Brewing beer & Talking to strangers.
Peoople make the place, and the most important aspect of travel for me is to understand the local side of life. Because each destination is far more complex and interesting than what tourists usually get to see!
Born in Australia to European parents, a respect and appreciation for travel was instilled in me from a very young age.
Though we didn't have much money when I was growing up, our family always taught us that sacrificing and saving throughout the year would allow us to take a big trip overseas to Asia or Europe at the end of the year. Growing up this way has definitely shaped me into the person I am today - understanding, curious, adventurous, self-aware, and able to roll with whatever comes at me in life.
In a nutshell: I'm a lots'a laughs as well as deep convos type of guy. I can never get enough of learning new things and hanging around new people. I am easy to talk to and get along with just about anyone. I have a wide range of interests, but travel is my biggest passion.
My goal is to connect with people and experience everything our diverse world has to offer!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Connecting with people and sharing experiences is what makes travel special to me. Why limit yourself to buildings and tours... people have interesting stories, and I want to hear them first hand!
I hope to get the 'local' view on the place I am staying at. How people live, what they do, where they hang out, anything unique! From my end in Australia, I hope to give you a comfortable place to stay with good company and everything taken care of!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll be listening to Daft Punk one moment, then B.B King's Blues and Miles Davis' Jazz, randomly dive into some early 2000s Gangsta Rap, get up and salsa to Latin Music, rock out to Hank Williams Jr Country, and relax to Chopin's Nocturnes Op. 9.
Favourite band - The Rolling Stones.
Favourite solo artist - Bob Dylan.
I previously studied Film in addition to my Business degree, so my love for film and film history goes quite deep! My favourite films are: The Big Lebowski, Fight Club, The Departed, Blood Diamond and Anger Management.
I have a love for learning, and books are a particularly good way of doing this. Mostly interested in books on travel, history, psychology and philosophy. Hand me a powerful novel though, and my face will be stuck to the pages until I can't ready anymore!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Student exchange for a year in San Diego, California. I made some amazing friends for life, and had some memories travelling around I could never forget!
Teach, Learn, Share
Now you're speaking my language! Sharing is what travel is all about, right?
I can teach you some surfing and martial arts basics, to cook some tasty Indian or Italian dishes, how to play a few tunes on guitar and harmonica, cinematography, the English and Polish language... I've been told I give good life advice, so if you have any problems, maybe I can help? Haha. I also know a lot about business, digital marketing and how to travel smart (I have a travel website dedicated to traveling like a local).
Looking forward to meeting you and sharing :)
