I am inviting you as my guest to encourage all city dwellers looking to visit Ottawa or residing in Ottawa, to get out of the city and explore life in Rural Canadian areas with $0 lodging costs. Just bring your tent and sleeping bag and camp on this peaceful property! During the winter, there is a small RV Camper with heating.

I am just under 150 km north of Ottawa in Quebec. If I have your attention, keep on reading! :) Reason I have marked my place as Ottawa, is because most people do not look for couchsurfing in my area up north, but those of you who are lucky enough to bump into my profile and looking for a retreat,

If you are looking to camp for a weekend, and want to experience life in the nature, yet a location superbly accessible by highways, want to retreat in the nature for a bike ride, stroll, or kayak, or just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and read a book in a quiet area, then my fellow traveler, you have reached the right host, adventurer, traveler and international bum, who loves to welcome visitors on his property. I live with my family and we welcome ALL families, couples and single travelers to our property.

My property was originally off grid, but I have access to running water, electricity, internet, and access to bike trails and crown land less than 10 minutes drive from my place. I am your average next door neighbour, an old fart in his 40s, a family man, a traveler, photographer and adventurer.

I would like to encourage ALL hosts and guests, to partner up, visit each other, provide referrals to each other, as that is also a way to earn 3 months free "verified" status. My agenda for 2023 is to meet with at least 100 new hosts and guests from around Canada and the globe.
