ABOUT ME

I am an international student from Malaysia studying at Purdue University in the USA. Currently I am doing a Physics major but the future? Maybe I will be the next Einstein I hope.

On my free time, I love taking photographs. In fact, I am a freelance photographer when I was in Malaysia but I still am now, just not so often.

My current objective is to visit as many states as possible in the United States during my short time period here. Being a student who try make to live my interest, I really hope that I can use CS to find some places to crash when I am traveling and not to forget, meeting new people and friends!

I live to know more people and to see more. Seeing is believing! I've seen a lot of America stuff in movies but I want to see the real thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Let's be honest, I created my account earlier in December 2013 to find place to stay in NYC. Unfortunately the trip was cancelled due to various reasons and also because I was unable to find a host.

My first real experience was during my trip to Minneapolis, MN. I was hosted by a wonderful lady who has no idea I was a newbie. From then on, I had used CS on numerous trips and is starting to offer my place to travelers like me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had been surfing all this while on CouchSurfing. My first experience was in Minneapolis with a wonderful host! And I literally had my whole summer trip planned and executed successfully because of the Couchsurfing community!

Interests

Photography and travelling. I have a dream of travelling around US throughout my 3 years here and take awesome photos.

Physics? Nah, maybe not. I just cant find it interesting when it will affect my grades.

Books? I don't read much book. I never managed to finish a book on my own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Standing beside Niagara Falls when it is super cold at night? Bad idea, my hands were literally frozen and painful.

2) Gone through tornado, polar vortex and flood on the first year in US?

3) Walked 30 miles in NYC in 2 days. Totally had it planned out for super awesome photos.
