Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Rayan. I was born abroad in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and raised in the Phoenix Valley area. I'm currently a third-year undergraduate at Yale University studying cross-disciplinary, comparative approaches to social policy. Specifically I'd like to leverage law as a tool to protect disenfranchised communities, both domestic and abroad. I study international politics, human rights law, economics, and have dabbled in literature, history, philosophy, art, and several other disciplines -- ALWAYS excited to have a fun, interesting conversation about anything, even if it's new for me.
I love travelling, music, cooking, coffee shops, museums, conversation, hiking, language exploration, and sports.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I grew up in a fairly under-resourced family and a sort-of insular community in Mesa, Arizona, so I've made it my mission to see and explore as much as possible. Travels have taken me to nine countries and numerous U.S. states so far (yay!), and the best part about new places is always new people. That's why I'm on Couchsurfing :)
