About Me

DEAR TRAVELERS, THIS IS AN IMPORTANT NOTE IF YOU'RE COMING TO BARCELONA AND PLANNING TO USE PUBLIC TRANSPORTS:

1. IN CASE YOU ARRIVE AND/OR LEAVE BY PLANE, BUY THE "T-USUAL" TICKET, IT COSTS 20€ AND YOU CAN USE ANY PUBLIC TRANSPORTS DURING 30 DAYS (AIRPORT INCLUDED). YOU JUST NEED TO INTRODUCE YOUR PASSPORT NUMBER AS IT'S A PERSONAL TICKET SO IT CAN'T BE USED BY ANYONE ELSE THAN YOU.

2. IF YOU COME AND LEAVE BY TRAIN OR BUS, IT WOULD DEPEND ON THE LENGTH OF YOUR STAY AND HOW MUCH YOU'RE PLANNING TO USE TRANSPORTS. "T-CASUAL" TICKET INCLUDES 10 TRAVELS AND COSTS 12€ (DOESN'T INCLUDE AIRPORT). IN CASE YOU'RE GONNA USE MORE THAN THAT, IT'S BETTER PURCHASING THE "T-USUAL" MENTIONED BEFORE.

3. YOU CAN BUY THE 24H/48H TICKETS IN CASE YOU'RE NOT STAYING LONGER THAN THAT AND NOT PLANNING TO GO TO TOWNS OUTSIDE OF BARCELONA, IT'S WORTH IT THEN AS IT INCLUDES AIRPORT. BUT DON'T BUY 72H+, THOSE ARE SUCH SCAMS! WAY TOO EXPENSIVE IF YOU TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THE "T-USUAL".

SO BASICALLY:
"T-USUAL" COSTS 20€ AND INCLUDES ALL THE PUBLIC TRANSPORTS UNLIMITED (ALSO TRAINS TO GO TO CASTELLDEFELS OR SITGES FOR EXAMPLE, AND EVEN TO SOME TOWNS IN COSTA BRAVA)

"T-CASUAL" COSTS 12€, IT'S 10 TRAVELS AND INCLUDES ONLY PUBLIC TRANSPORT INSIDE BARCELONA. AIRPORT ISN'T INCLUDED.

NOTE THAT NONE OF THE TICKETS ABOVE INCLUDE THE AIRPORT EXPRESS BUS (AEROBUS), WHICH COSTS MORE OR LESS THE SAME AS REGULAR BUS, TRAIN OR METRO AIRPORT TICKET. ALSO, AS IT ONLY STOPS IN COUPLE OF POINTS IN THE CITY CENTRE, SO IT MIGHT NOT NECESSARILY BE THE FASTEST OPTION FOR YOU DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU'RE STAYING.

SINGLE TICKET FROM/TO THE AIRPORT IS GENERALLY AROUND 5-6€

REFERRING HOSTING:

MAINLY HOSTING ON WEEKENDS AND JUST OCCASIONALLY ON WEEKDAYS.

EXCUSE ME IF I'M JUST DENYING YOUR REQUEST WITHOUT REPLYING. I'M RECEIVING TOO MANY EVERY DAY I USUALLY DON'T HAVE TIME TO READ ALL OF IT OR WRITE A MESSAGE, SO IF I SEE THAT I WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR THE DAYS YOU'RE ASKING I MIGHT JUST REJECT IT GIVING NO EXPLANATION. SORRY

Born and grew up in Morocco. Moved to Spain in 2016 so I graduated from Sports Sciences bachelor in 2020 at Universidad de Valencia. Then, moved to Barcelona in July 2020 to study a Masters in Sports Nutrition and I graduated from it in September 2021. I've been working as a personal trainer since 2019 ✌🏼

I define myself as a very cool guy, maybe a bit introvert the first time i meet people but then it's okay. I practice a lot of sports and i like to know new people.

"I don't have too much to say about my personal experience as a traveller, i'm just starting and i hope people of this app will help me as i could help them for anything i can."

UPDATE MARCH 2023: Can't believe it's been more than 5 years since I wrote that previous paragraph. A lot happened since then and now I can say that I'm more or less an experienced traveler and definitely a couchsurfing lover!

CS is about sharing life experiences and I'm really happy to be part of this community. It helps to break the borders and make the world a bit more solidary. It's like a dream that becomes real little by little and I hope this could keep going on as long as possible.
I want to help as much people as I could, hosting them, visitng the city with them or at least giving them advices about what to see here. But please, never forget the CS essence: it's about social experience, cultural exchange. This is the most important part of the "contract" so try not to break it.

By the way, after many experiences in CS I saw that hosts usually provide food to theirs guests. Please understand that it will not be necessarily the case with us. It can happen occasionally but it's not so common. I basically can't afford to give food to all my guests as we're hosting pretty much, not just couchsurfers but friends as well. Obviously you can help yourself with the kitchen to cook anything you want, many supermarkets are close to my flat ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm very intersted to travel all around the world and knowing people from other countries, other cultures... I think we've a lot to learn from people with differents habits.
The thing is that i'm young and i didn't start yet to travel a lot because of money, but i'm very excited to start exploring the world.
I would like to receive people in Valencia but i know that is not as touristic as Barcelona or Madrid, but you should spend at least a week-end here, it's a beautiful city and you're welcome to my flat.

UPDATE 2023: Well it's been a while since I moved from Valencia and I just noticed I didn't update this part. Couchsurfing is for sure the top 3 decisions I made in my life. Nothing to add.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first CS experience in Edinburgh and Copenhagen, hosted by very nice and welcoming people who helped me visiting each city and I spent really good time with each one

UPDATE JAN 2020:
Hiking with two friends in Switzerland during winter time, going from Grindelwald to First. A 6 hours walk through the snow, with some strong snow storms and even kind of climbing sometimes with no adapted equipment for it. We still did it and the satisfaction afterwards is insane!

UPDATE JAN 2022:
First big travel after COVID pandemic, me and my ex-girlfriend went to Lapland in Finland and we had the chance to see the northern lights during a husky ride. Unique experience.

UPDATE APR 2022:
Roadtrip around the beautiful landscapes of Norway with my ex-girlfriend. We landed at Bergen so we visited the South West area, it was just amazing.

UPDATE DEC 2022:
I've been to Golden Triangle on the Thailand side. That point is where de Mekong River creates natural border between Thailand, Laos anf Myanmar. Even though I never went on Laos and Myanmar land, I consider myself having been there lol It was so close from us!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good vibes, bed or sofa to sleep, advice tips and recommendations about the city. I can't guarantee spending time with my guests as I'm usually very busy but as long as U can help with a place to stay and you're ok with that you're more than welcome 🤗
