About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To submerse myself in as many different cultures as possible, to gain understanding of the world and of people and how we manage to make all this work!

ABOUT ME

I'm down for pretty much everything, whether it's a trek through the jungle or a night out in the city, I love to seek out adventure. Cultures that are so vastly different from my own fascinate me, and I love to explore the local hotspots.

PHILOSOPHY

Live with joy, for that is the point of it all, isn't it?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a traveller, hoping to crash on your couch. Someday I will return the favour :)
Couch surfing has introduced me to some beautiful souls and people that I will never forget. First, I backpacked for 8 months in Africa, couchsurfed for part of it in South Africa, then spent a good 6 months in SE Asia, couchsurfed in Malaysia and Thailand. Now, I'm travelling in Europe (UK, France, Spain, Portugal), with my sister and using couch surfing and staying with friends that we've both met on our travels. Hopefully when I return to Canada, I'll have a couch to offer!

Interests

Anything adventurous, anything crazy that I've never done before. Also, hiking, diving, yoga, writing, a glass of wine and some good conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dharamshala, a community in the Himalayan mountains of India, a community of Tibetan refugees with beautiful hearts and a struggle for human rights. Go there. Hear their stories. Share their stories. Fall in love.
Also, hike the Mt. Robson trail in the Rocky Mountains of Canada. Let it take your breath away.

Teach, Learn, Share

There's so much to learn from every person that you meet, whether you know them for 5 minutes or 50 years. Each person marks an imprint on your life, through conversation, activities, and actions. I am open to learning anything and everything, and will share as much of myself with you as I can.
