ABOUT ME

I have public profile anxiety, how does one write these things?? I'm a goofy, caring person who loves to eat, travel, have fun conversations with people about everything and nothing, ride my bike, and eat some more (and ideally combine all of the above). I'm very social, sometimes to a fault. I enjoy fun-loving people who make the best out of life and don't take themselves too seriously, but who are also genuine and sympathize with others' struggles. I'm very turned off by materialism and lack of respect or care for others' feelings. I'm itching to travel more (grad student budget currently an obstacle), especially around the US since I'm new-ish here, to learn a new language, to learn to do more things with my hands, and to cook more interesting things.

PHILOSOPHY

Be good to others, see the human in each person, tolerate and rejoice in differences, and don't let others turn you into someone you are not.

Interests

Interests that I actually do rather than wish I did include cutting my own hair, cheering people up, picking on my loved ones, and trying new things... One day I'll do something about my huge interest in photography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed the Great Wall (well, a small part of it), it was pretty amazing! My biggest accomplishment though is to have broken through a massive social/religious barrier in my community and married the man I love.
