I am originally from Central California. I lived there most of my life. I spent 4 years living in Honolulu, Hawaii. I love the island life. Currently, I am teaching English in a primary school in Galicia, Spain. I love my job and really thankful for the opportunities it's allowed for me. It is very green here with amazing seafood. I like to spend my days off, site seeing and traveling around Europe. I have a mild temperament and I enjoy learning and laughing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past I have stayed in hostels, airbnbs, hotels, resorts, & tents. This is my first attempt at couch surfing. It seems like a great opportunity to explore and meet people. However, I am currently not hosting because it is not possible at the moment.

Interests

I love to do yoga, cook, travel and smile. I also love hot coffee, even in the summer. I drink a lot of water, Im interested in incorporating more fruits and vegetables into my meals and I write postcards to friends and family as much as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I am enjoying reading books about improving my human relations. I love music, especially a combination of jazz, reggae, and hiphop. It's great to make music, even if it is very simple. The sound of drums is one of my favourite things. I enjoy watching movies and documentaries.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a little bit about a lot of things. Im open to learning, especially about food, the spanish language, yoga & meditation, communication, history and business. Sharing is something I want to do more of.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My recipe for chai tea latte, a few yoga stretches, some information about photoshop, & conversation. Some foods I've made for sharing are: mango salsa, quinoa salad, soba noodles, & some combo of roasted veggies with a starch. I do dishes!
