ABOUT ME

I am about to embark on what I hope will be a life changing journey. I've been stuck in the rat race for so long, always doing what was expected of me, trying to make other people happy. I haven't had time to truly enjoy all the things I love about life, so I've finally said, enoughs enough. Time to live for the moment and experience all my dreams.

I'm really looking forward to getting out in the world again!
I love doing just about anything. Trying things for the first time always just makes me so happy, and that's something that's been missing from my life. My first love has always been traveling, and my dreams have always been to visit those faraway exotic locations that we hear so much about. So that's what I'm going to do. I'm closing my store, packing up my stuff, and getting out there. I have had some great experiences while travelling. I've lived in Japan for a year as a student, and spent time traveling around Europe when I graduated college, and thinking back, I think those were the happiest, most fulfilling parts of my life.

I think I'm a pretty down to earth, mellow guy, and I'm happy when everyone else is happy. I adapt easily to just about any situation, and believe that I learn from everyone who I have the pleasure of meeting. I enjoy cooking, although I'm not really good at it, but I can help peel a carrot or potatoe, and actually I'm usually ok if you give me a recipe. I love to read and enjoy quiet time, but I also like to go out and have fun. I enjoy a good bottle of wine and a great meal, and like to get out and hike or walk and experience my surroundings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I plan to travel. I'm starting off in Malaga, Spain, and know I have to be in Tours for a wine festival, but other than that no definitive plans.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Everyone I speak with who has couchsurfed has loved the experience. Reading through profiles and comments just makes me feel this will be a great, enriching, rewarding experience.
