I'm working as an international distributor. So if you also have interests in making more business in China, that would be perfect. I work on part time Mandarin teaching too, especially helping foreign students who have problems in Oral communication.

I've worked in Beijing since 2001. Before I was studying in Xian. I have very strong interest in different cultures. Part of my earlier life was in south China, with many Asian minorities. Then I stayed with Beijingers most of the rest time. During my childhood, studies & working, I also got in contact with many Chinese from all provinces in this huge country. I am very keen to get to know different styles of living so I hope we can exchange more cultural experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host 1~3 times within a 2 month time frame.

Some hints:

1. It's not a coerce but I recommend you to bring me a small gift from your culture, also better write a small English note to my email. So I can introduce your culture thing to my new guests. Later on, I'd try to hold culture events in middle/elementary schools, to help those children from low developed Chinese places to get to know the outside world.

2. I will start to rent out 2nd hand bicycles for cycling seeing in Beijing (RMB 50/half day or RMB 30/2 hours). Also I'll give you some free guiding around my living area when I can ride bicycle.

3. For tourist who has luggage in traveling. Now I start to supply depository in day time. Welcome send me messages to inquire if I still have place for your luggage. RMB 100/week for each big suit case.

4. Don't get pressure when you see the collection box in my guest room for charity. I just want to use it to mention people that there are still many Chinese children need better education. And you are welcome to join with me to help them. Now I'm trying to run an English/Chinese mails event to help the Children to study English easier & have more international communication.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have helped visitors to travel in Beijing already. Actually that was part of my volunteer job in 2008 Olympic.

Now I also like to work as part time guider sometimes, to see the nice places tourists normally won't know or can't go. Those are not such popular, but priceless and unique areas. Fortunately, there are many of them around Beijing.

And of course, I prefer to travel by public vehicles. I hope more & more people would keep doing that to make our earth greener.

BTW, better do some research before you come to China. - (such as the weather for camping; schedule for Chinese opera; ...) This culture has about 3000~5000 years history. It's not something can be understand easily by just sight seeing. And then you won't miss any of the best parts. ;)
