About Me

ABOUT ME

Really simple, laid back, and uncomplicated. Almost anything goes. I teach in South Korea, and pretty much have traveled around South East Asia in the last three years.

I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and later moved to Durban with family. I workout quite often and enjoy boxing and jogging. I sometimes dive, trail run or hike when I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered Couchsurfing when I first traveled to Thailand alone. I didn't stay with anyone, but I spent sometime with the Couchsurfers there. It's such a cool idea.

Live and love, so I'm going to host too now that I have my own place in Korea. If you ever in Korea let me know.

Interests

Travelling and the outdoors are number one on my list. I'm quite sporty, enjoy kicking a football, and recently I've got into Muay Thai and boxing. I'm into music mostly Hip Hop, but any chilled vibes will do. I guess I could watch a few movies on a rainy day.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into comics, so the Marvel movies do it for me. I've read all The Harry Potter, Dan Brown, and Dean Koontz novels I could find, and enjoy any crime mysteries. I mainly listen to Hip Hop, but not limited to that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I went bungee jumping!!! Had an amazing two years in Korea that my liver did not enjoy. Everyday in South Africa is just awesome, but the best moment of my life was gazing out into the ocean on Boracay, there was something about the time, weather, the blue sea, and little fishing boats on the shore that just made me go blank, in that moment I couldn't think about anything, and I'm forever chasing moments like those.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can delve deep into the rich History of South Africa with hosts. I can give them a brief intro to the 11 official South African languages. Hints and Tips on surviving Asia lol.

Countries I’ve Visited

Philippines, Swaziland, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
