About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi there!
We are a family of 7 ( including my lovely dog!🐶) and I am a father of 4.
We moved to Kobe about 10 years ago from Tokyo for my job, then we build a house and settled in here. Our town is a kind of residential area which located north and countryside of Kobe. There is no interesting place for sightseeing and not convenient to access the center, but a quiet town with some natures and some old Japanese scenery.
I am working for a trading company in medical field as a sales manager, my wife is working as a nurse. 3 children belong to the elementary school, and youngest one belongs to preschool. I don't have much me time these days but I'm always trying to make my life goes to the good way which means to get success both on private and job. I am a type of person who doesn't like to be as same as someone in most of the cases. I'm always seeking something that inspiring to my life.

Although It's just like my personal diary and I am not good English writer:), I am also writing a blog about my couchsurfing experience as a host,

PHILOSOPHY

Keep trying!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to expand my knowledge/common sense/ideas to improve myself more. To meet new people is always a very exciting experience and it always brings me something new. It's very interesting to know some difference comparing to my country.
I am very curious about their life experience, lifestyles, working styles, education, jobs, ideas, foods, so much more! and I would like to know how do they think about Japan, how are their impression of Japan.
Unfortunately, we don't have much opportunity to meet some other countries people in our ordinary life and we can't go to overseas a lot, but we can meet and know new people/things through the Couchsurfing, instead. Also, to meet other countries people would be always the precious experience for my children, not only for me and my wife. I believe this is the completely right way for my children as they become the right person who can survive in the future society of the world.
Furthermore, I would like to have my guests to know more about Japan like local people through staying with us. I have a lot of local things and cultures which I want to let you know.
We are always sharing so much fun time with surfers!
We are very much enjoying hosting so far and would like to host more people as possible as we can.

Interests

I love soccer, both playing and watching. Others are watching movies, watching US dramas (CSI, Cold case, Person of interest, etc), playing guitar, reading books, doing video games. However, these all of things are about when I was younger :)
Nowadays, I'm spending most of my spare times for raising kids and house working (T-T)
Sometimes we all go to Karaoke nearby my place these days and we go to the domestic trip couple of times in a year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got this big family! I could never imagine and plan this life which now I'm going on when I was young, so life is interesting. We can never calculate the future and life, and life is never going according to the expecting. I thank everything, people, opportunity, and luck which have been around my life.
Also, I had been hoping that bring my family to other countries to see and feel very different culture from Japan, and finally we were able to go Australia as the first time family overseas trip in May, /2017! That was the really awesome thing for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell/show you about some Japanese cultures and dialects.
Of course, you can feel real Japanese family life if you come to my house!
