CURRENT MISSION

Just moved back to Perth after 10 yrs in Sydney so getting back in to family life and keeping things fairly low key till I'm back working

ABOUT ME
I was born in Ireland but raised in Perth Australia, spent 10 yrs working in Sydney with a 9 mth break to travel Europe in 2011. Made it to 26 cities in 18 countries. Heaps of couch surfing catch ups, events and was even hosted in some cities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted a few girls in Sydney. Two who went away around Australia and came back to stay again which was really nice. Another lovely German girl but only for a few days.

I hosted in Sydney and considered going to an event but until I went travelling I didn't realise how many locals are attending Couch surfing events. I thought you had to be travelling yourself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Manchester for the 1st time. Attended weekly meeting which lead to CS camping / music festival which was awesome, completely unexpected experience of Manchester. And met a few Manchester CS's again at Reading which was awesome!!

Surfed in Dijon with 2 hosts and met 3 different Dijon surfers for tea
and drinks. Awesome when my lack of French language became over whelming.

Meet CS for drinks and some times walking tour in Estonia, Lithuania, and Austria.

Had my first negative experience in Venice when I barely spoke to my host for 5 mins when he left me at a hostel he runs told me he had to work that night and the next day. I went out the next day and he called me back and he said he didn't like the way I looked at him and I could go stay at his friend or leave, I chose to leave.

I haven't done any thing since I got back from travelling but would like to get in to it again.

兴趣

I play soccer, I love music and dancing, shame not too many of my girl-friends are free to go dancing too often. I love food, wine. A little exercise. Big movie fan. I love to laugh, regularly go to the comedy clubs.

Music... Jack Johnson, Angus and Julia Stone, Yeasayer, Mumford and Sons.

Books... Any thing I get my hands on but a lot of fluff cause I read so much some times I like it to be just an simple easy read

Meeting each one of my neices and nephews for the first time, and every time after that!!

Flew over the top of Everest, pretty amazing when you're not likly to climb it and haven't seen snow before.
Looked after Kindergarden children in Nepal
Picking grapes in a France for a month
