About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying life to the fullest!

ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Rachel AKA Ray Ray and Raylo, I currently reside in San Francisco and live in the ever so changing mission district. I keep myself busy working and going to school full time. When I’m not slinging supplements (I work at whole foods) or hitting the books… you can probably find me strolling down mission st. with one of my girlfriends going in and out of thrift stores looking for bizarre/ interesting finds or downtown sketching buildings.

Three words that describe me would be: loyal, passionate and approachable.

PHILOSOPHY

Be cautiously curious and live with no regrets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently I am reading Norwegian Wood by Murakami, Communion by Strieber and this book on parasites called Parasite Rex. So to some it all up…college students get abducted by extra terrestrial and are injected with brain tissue eating parasites.

My recently played on itunes lists: Radiohead, Pulp, Roky Erickson, Sam Cooke, Beach boys, Vitalic, Simon and Garfunkel, Rudimentary Peni and People under the Stairs.

I can be so so bipolar when it comes to music but I blame it on the constantly changing weather here in SF.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say one of the coolest things I’ve experienced was the time I was randomly picked to dance on stage with Flaming Lips. I don’t know if you’re familiar with their on stage antics but all I have to say is when you got a furry animal costume on with Wayne Coyne singing in a white suite covered in fake blood and glitter falling from the ceiling… Magic happens!
