HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am offering my couch(es) and hospitality to people who are travelling to Rotterdam.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After becoming a member during the summer of 2008 I started attending the weekly meetings in my hometown Rotterdam. Then I graduatly began hosting people and in made my first 'CS-roadtrip' through Germany and Belgium witch made me get a true sense of what hospitality can be about.
Back home I went on hosting people and together with a friend made a second roadtrip through France. Untill now I have been a host for quite some people and in general really enjoyed this.

I love music!! Favorite artists and sounds (to name a few): Cake, Smashing Pumpkins, Depeche Mode, Gorillaz, Led Zeppelin, Minimal Techno, Beck, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Radiohead, Jazz, Metallica, White Stripes, Anouk, Queens of the Stoneage, Amy Whinehouse, Drum 'n Bass, van Dik Hout, Guns N Roses, David Bowie ... and on.

Not much of a book-reader, except for biografies and lately detectves by Scottish auteur Ian Rankin.
