ABOUT ME

We are mature couple who have traveled mainly in Asia and Europe. We have extended our home over the past 10 years to students mainly through the Rotary International Exchange program. We would now like to share our home and city with travelers from around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We enjoy meeting people and sharing our experiences. We travel at least once a year. We open our home to other excited travellers and hope to gain new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Staying with CS "friends" in Denmark, Germany, UK, Estonia, Finland, Switzerland and France.
Many CS "friends' have stayed with us over the past 10 years who we now call "family".

Interests

Eating out, travelling, meeting new people, helping out in the community through Rotary and other not for profit organisations. We like listening to music from 60's to now but not the "head banging" type. Enjoy time with our grown children and grandchildren. We are both "young at heart" and enjoy showing people around our beautiful city and state.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cruised for a month on QM2 Singapore to London, driven all through Europe. Slept in the car when we could not find any accommodation. We are travel holics.
I can also walk on water - at 66km - barefoot water skiing, love it and done it now for over 45 years.

Learn from younger, older, wiser and interesting people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Family home with own bedroom, bathroom, toilet, laundry, wifi and our friendship. It is best if you have a motor vehicle as we are about 1km to bus stop.
