Overview
About Me
I am a Jordanian that supports unconventional traveling. I live by the concept: if life offers you lemons, you make lemonade. It keeps me humbled, optimistic, and just smiling. I enjoy the little things in life - I appreciate a kind gesture, a smiling stranger, the offer to help ... etc. I am thankful for the little things. Appearances don't mean much to me. I judge based on what I get.
Big cycling fan 🚴♀️
And a big foodie :)
I appreciate a good meal. And, I love anything that comes with a lot of olive oil.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's incredibly cool!
This is one way to connect with the people of the world. I think this builds bridges between nations, ethnicities and beliefs, beyond prejudices and stereotypes. At the bottom of it, we are all just people ...
Sharing experiences with strangers means we are willing to push our limits; get out of our comfort zones. To me it's mind-liberating; it makes us more comfortable in our own skin - free of judgement, and free to endless possibilities!
Interests
I don't believe that interests can be limited or grouped.
I am interested in, well, everything. I find a particular fascination in science and how things work.
Crazy about cycling - even though I haven't been doing it for long.
Into motorcycles too ... Dreaming of my Ducati ... Someday!
Interested in an extended stay in Asia and Latin America ... interested in a world tour ... also someday!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Here's a list of things that I think are cool 😏:
- Rally co-driver
- Taekwondo world Bronze medallist for feather weight (don't worry I don't bite :p)
- Taught illiterate women how to read and write, and how to perform simple algebraic operations
- One month hitchhiking trip with my twin sister, from Düsseldorf, Germany to Lisbon, Portugal and back. One of the best trips of my life!
- Stayed at a hippy commune between villages in the south of France. Met very interesting people ...
- Bungee jumping over a lake
- Solo bike trip a cross 3 countries. Very memorable trip :)
Waiting for the next big thing ...
Teach, Learn, Share
Fluent in 3 languages: Arabic, English, and German. I can teach you a few Arabic words ... It is always fun to do that because 99% of non-Arabic speakers cannot pronounce some of the letters, and it's always funny to give that a try!
Surfers and visitors: I can share with you traveling stories, Arabic food if you're up for it, we can hang out ... am quite easygoing so am down for anything and everything.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Dear Hosts and Surfers: I can share stories of my travels with you, and even maybe cook ... what I am trying to say in simple words is that I will make sure that you're comfortable and having a good time while we are together.
Dear Surfers: if you stay with me, I promise to try my best to show you around. I would really like to get to know the person that I am hosting (or if I am not hosting you, we could meet up, hang out ... etc). It's all part of the couchsurfing experience isn't it?
