About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be the best paramedic in the area and build a strong community of relationships.

ABOUT ME

I have a BA in Theology from Northland International University. I followed that education by getting an AAS in Paramedic. I own a company that teaches medical classes. I also work on an ambulance a couple times a week.

I like adventure but I also like hanging around the house all day The best way to describe me is a jack of all trades, master of few. I am very diverse and embrace all aspects of life.

When I can, I like wakeboarding, rock climbing, backpacking, and running triathlons.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short, don't waste your life. It's about the journey, not the destination.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to be able to meet new people through the CS2 project. I have my own place and I'm only limited by my work schedule. Even then, depending on your situation, I can probably work around that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've unofficially couchsurfed for the first time on my way up to Canada. We stopped at a house to get a few hours sleep before we continued on our trip. I've also spent a week in NYC doing CS.

My family has opened our home to many travelers from around the world as I was growing up, so I've grown up being around couchsurfers. I formally started hosting in 2009.

Interests

I love to read non-fiction books. I'm also always researching or looking into something. I like to do outdoor stuff like rock climbing, caving, wakeboarding, swimming, photography, and things like that whenever I have time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Myan ruins was pretty awesome. Climbing the Andes Mountains in Venezuela was always a good time. Climbing a waterfall in Jamaica was exhilarating. Living in the utmost wilderness of Canada for a week on a canoeing trip was breath taking. Winging it on the streets of NYC for spring break rocked! Backpacking through Kenya for a month was life changing. Spending 4 days at the Bonnaroo music festival was insane!

Teach, Learn, Share

I always say that experiences and knowledge are what shape a person, and you can never have too much of either one.

I'm always interested to try something new and listen to someone who has different thoughts than me. I may not like it or agree with it, but I'll be grateful for the exposure.
