About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Stay hydrated. Smell Nice. Keep Smiling.

ABOUT ME

I'm a creature of the Pacific Northwest. I would almost certainly rather be outside and fill my free time hiking, camping, bicycling, hammocking, home brewing, cooking, scuba diving, sailing, windsurfing, and drinking beer in the park. I'm a graduate student studying marine environmental management. When I'm not studying I try to fill my free time with wonderful hobbies and time with friends and family.

PHILOSOPHY

So long as opportunities present minimal risk to life, limb, or criminal records, they should be embraced and acted upon immediately.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty new to this whole thing, but if you are in Seattle drop a line. I can give some recommendations on places to go and things to see.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before this website existed, I lived in a house that had 4 rent paying tenants, but would typically sleep betwen 8-12 people in a given week. I loved it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Martin Buber, Bon Iver, The Big Lebowski.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While scuba diving in Seattle I once saw an octopus (two octopus actually) that was bigger than you are, presumably.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to sail. I can teach you to brew beer. I want to learn about where you are from, where you have been, and what you find strange about the United States generally and Seattle in particular. In Seattle I can share the best hiking spots, local bars and restaurants, and strange attractions in the city that are not in any guidebooks. I'm a fountain of weird Seattle trivia. I can also show you this city by boat if you like.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, Italy, Saint Lucia, South Africa

Countries I’ve Lived In

Israel, Jamaica, United States
