Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started with couchsurfing in 2009 while travelling in the north of Norway, and I can't believe it took me so long to get involved! After my first surfing experience I began to host in my apartment in Trondheim. At home in Ann Arbor, we have always opened our home to travelling bands, friends and family, and CS just opens up my horizons even more.
Interests
I like skiing, hiking, learning languages. picnics, wood-burning stoves, dessert, cafes, yummy sandwiches, yummy anything, knitting, warm socks, funny sweaters, the sun!, marshmallows, halloween, jackie onassis, yoga, reading, trains, painting, probably some other things too :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading Geronimo's semi-auto-biography for fun(?) and several travel narratives to help prepare me for Peace Corps service.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I swam above the arctic circle!
Teach, Learn, Share
As a former Art&Design student, I have many novice skills, but lately I find myself teaching people to ski as I'm always looking for ski partners and I think everyone should be at least introduced to the sport. I would love to learn more about coffee and bicycle maintenance.
