ABOUT ME

I'm working on my PhD and that takes up most of my time. I do like things outside of work like music and coffee.

Interests

My main hobby here in France is the piano. Back in the USA, I played the upright bass too but had to leave it with family when I moved across the pond. I'm not a very good cook but I appreciate good food and wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big jazz fan but also a fan of alternative. I tend to like sci-fi movies or action movies with a decent plot. I like Vonnegut and other satirical authors. I also read American classics and sci-fi novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen bears, bald eagles and moose in the wild which was impressive. I also work on a big science experiment.
