ABOUT ME

I come from India, so Dancing, socializing, Movies, eating and trying new things runs in my blood. Dancing nonstop for hours is my passion. When I am not out dancing, I dance in my room, I dance in my kitchen, I dance in public areas and I dance at many other places that I don't want to mention. ;-)

I grew up watching movies and I love making movies. Movie is a medium that can transform people's moods, thinking and up to an extent their lives. It can make you laugh and cry. It can annoy you,it can excite you, it can seduce you. It can make you think about life. Its a medium capable of generating every possible emotion in a person.

Due to my accent, I have trouble saying "V" or "W" clearly. It always creates funny jokes out of normal sentences. I love it. At home, you will find me blasting music in my room or reading a book or meditating.

I appreciate Different seasons. I love trying new things and am passionate about my work, my culture and my family. I don't take "NO" for an answer. I love sleeping. I can sleep anywhere in no time whatsover. I have slept standing in an overcrowded train in Mumbai. I have slept in a noisy bar and no, I didn't have a single drink that night! :-)

I love Diversity and love meeting people from different countries, states and with different life styles. I get this amazing excitement and energy when I meet someone new.

I love traveling and plan to go traveling around the world for an year sometime in next 3-4 years. I hate touristy places but land up going there with friends and family. I prefer living and experiencing life in different parts of the world.

I dream of making a movie in every country of the world during my entire life span. People say every continent sounds more achievable , but Hey, I forgot to mention I am ambitious and I love challenges!

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let Live. Everything is energy. My philosophy is pretty much on the lines of law of attraction and lot lot more. Its hard to type it all up.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learned about it through a roomate and friend. I met some really cool people that I once hosted and once when I lived at someone's place. It made me believe that there is so much goodness and love still on this planet and made me want to be a part of it. I think this a great way to connect with people and meet people. This is something on the lines of something I started last year while on a road trip.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once my roomate in Boston hosted a bunch of people from Switzerland. This guy drove all around the world in a hybrid solar car that he put together. So clearly the first experience itself was amazing.

Then I stayed over at a friends connection on CS. Met a couple of interesting people in Vernon. They had visited India, the place where i grew up so it was an amazing connection. We stayed at her place for a weekend and then hung out at dinners, golf courses and met a few more interesting people including a couple from holland getting married.

Everything in and about CS is amazing. I am someone who love the energy of meeting new people and CS is a great medium to meet interesting people from diverse cultures, backgrounds and experiences. I simply love it!
