My traits would be: sensitive, intense, communicative, sensual, integrity, very self-aware, driven, ambitious, horrible at getting up in the morning, sits down in the shower when hungover, tends to go grocery shopping when hungry (baaaad idea btw), is the kind of guy who would have owned a black area rug with a noble white tiger on it, dimly lit by a lava lamp, in university.

I'm an introverted guy with a lot of extroverted tendencies. I love to meet new people, but I like to keep a close network of really good friends. Having moved around a lot with the army (my past career), I value solid, and deeply connected relationships with my friends.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live on my own in Kitsilano, just across the Burrard Bridge from downtown Vancouver. I'm pretty laid back, try to live life to the fullest and it takes a bit to get to me, but disrespect is a big no-no (ie not filling the ice cube trays fully. If I don't like you, then after I leave your house, I will fill up the ice cub trays half full, so it's hard to get the ice cubes out without dumping a bunch of them on the floor). I'm a clean person, and fairly tidy. I don't do any drugs, but I don't have any problems with others' recreational use, however I don't wish to house and/or associate with people who use drugs as a way of life. (marijuana, in my opinion, does not qualify, unless you're doing it 10 times or more during the day).

OH YEAH, I've noticed this as being somewhat of a concern in some profiles. I am a straight man but I am completely open and fine with hosting/surfing with gay/bi men/women. As far as I'm concerned, as long as you live by the golden rule "do unto others as you'd have done unto you/treat others with the same respect you'd like to be treated", you don't have excessive body odour, and you seem to be generally well adjusted socially, then we'll get along just fine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Simply amazing. There have been so many incredible people that I've met, and so many more to come. I can't wait for my next couch surfing experience.

One amazing thing? It's kind of hard to pick... The best thing that I can think of, is a climbing experience in Thailand, where I rappelled off of a 4 hour climb (about 325ft) onto a stool at a bar, called "Freedom Bar" where my friend had a drink ready for me. Awesome.
