About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to take the long way home

ABOUT ME

Like to go running early in the morning before the city wakes up. Have four siblings, so accustomed to relaxing amidst chaos and pitching in. Often have my nose in a book. Easy going, curious, and enjoy a bit of adrenaline now and again. Most often happy, but when sad listen to Billie Holiday albums over and over until my neighbors bang with a broom on the ceiling.

PHILOSOPHY

"Our original guiding stars are struggle and hope, but there is no such thing as a lone struggle, no such thing as a lone hope. In every human being are combined the most distant epochs, passivity, mistakes, sufferings, the pressing urgencies of our own time [and] the pace of history . . . There is no insurmountable solitude. All paths lead to the same goal: to convey to others what we are. And we must pass through solitude and difficulty, isolation and silence in order to reach forth to the enchanted place where we can dance our clumsy dance and sing our sorrowful song - but in this dance or in this song there are fulfilled the most ancient rights of our conscience in the awareness of being human and of believing in a common destiny."
-Pablo Neruda

Survived being run over by a taxi when I was five.
Night swimming off the coast of Mexico during a lunar eclipse.
Bivouacking on a big wall.

Can tune up your bicycle, and cook nice omlets. If you like we can go climbing :) Love the ocean and would like to learn more about sailing. Always looking for a good book recommendation and can give a few as well.
