ABOUT ME

I currently live and study in Ypsilanti, MI but my story begins thousands of miles away in the caribbean, on an island called Puerto Rico. I attend Eastern Michigan University where I am pursuing a career in the Marketing and Advertising world. When I'm not in school, I'm probably traveling, out with friends, in Puerto Rico, or out somewhere taking pictures and listening to my ipod. I am loud...comes from being a boricua, curious and very adventurous. If there's more need to know more, feel free to ask...

PHILOSOPHY

Sueña lo que desees soñar, ve donde quieras ir, se lo que deseas ser porque solo tienes un vida y una oportunidad para hacer las cosas que deseas hacer. Siempre ponte en los zapatos de otras personas, si sientes que te duele, probablemente le dolera a esa persona tambien. Cuando tu nacistes, estabas llorando y todos al rededor tuyo estaban sonriendo. Vive tu vida de manera que cuando mueras seas tu quien este sonriendo y los demas quienes esten llorando. La Felicidad existe para aquellos que lloran, aquellos que les duele, aquellos que han buscado, aquellos que han tropezado, porque solamente ellos pueden apreciar la importancia de las personas que han tocados sus vidas. La mayoria de la gente feliz no necesariamente tiene lo mejor de cada cosa, Ellos solamente toman lo mejor delas cosas que aparecen a lo largo de su camino...

I've never had a couchsurfing experience yet, which is why i am incredibly excited to satrt something new like this...

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy chill out music and jazz, old classic salsa, merengue, reggaeton, and some electronica. I am a fan of the Harry Potter series, also fan of Cuando Era Puertorriquena and Casi Una Mujer by Esmeralda Santiago. I also enjoyed The Color Purple and Memento. I enjoy poems like Thunder Perfect Mind and among many others by Luis Pales Matos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have volunteered, I've build a house for a homeless person, I've seen the the atlantic ocean and the caribbean sea, i've wished on a shooting star, seen a meteorite in the night sky, Ive done high ropes, I've gone mountain climbing...
