About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see art, to dance, laugh hard, and enjoy the places that I would never otherwise know about if it wasn't for couchsurfing.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't talk about it, be about.
If you're not getting better, you're getting worse. Keep going/doing/loving/living
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to participate with my knowledge- while I know cities like New York, Chicago, and St. Louis very well, I have very close friends in every major U.S. city and would not hesitate to ask them for advice in their locale. On the other side of things, I want people to share their knowledge (and maybe a sofa occasionally) with me!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had only one couchsurfing interaction, but it was over a week that I spent in Chilula (sorry if spelling is wrong) at UDLAP outside of Mexico City. Here I met the first people I had ever known on couchsurfing, got to go to a potluck style vegetarian dinner served in corn husks while we all sat on the floor. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and the food was delicious. I also got to have lunch with a friend who I knew going into the dinner- she is one of the nicest, most thoughtful people I have ever met!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen: the clinching game of the World Series that the St. Louis Cardinals won.
Done: biked 120 miles (193km) in one day...when I was 13. I don't think I could do it today without some serious training, but I do still love to ride.
Teach, Learn, Share
I take bread and slice it thinly. I take a pear and slice it thinly. I take brie and slice it thinly. I put the bread in the oven and let it get a little crisp, take it back out, put the pear on and then the brie on top. Simple? Yes. Delicious? Yes. Might I add some olive oil, balsamic, or cinnamon, but not all three? Someday.
