About Me
CURRENT MISSION
laughter, empathy and enjoying the present moment...can those be missions? ;)
ABOUT ME
I am passionate about the things that matter to me, easy-going and open-minded about almost everything. I like to laugh, talk about silly things and nerdy things, do what I've never done before, and meet people who are totally different from me. I like to have a good balance of epic adventure, quiet solitude, adversity, and regular rowdy parties to let off steam.
PHILOSOPHY
I guess my philosophy in life is that nothing is as it seems. That even the most simple and seemingly obvious truths have exceptions and complexities. So I try not to assume much, and approach things with humility. I try to live and let live, do something good, take risks, make mistakes, and learn something new every day. Enjoy the ups as well as the downs, step back and get perspective, and try and remember that the simple things are usually the most important. When all else fails, laugh...and laugh hard.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was using CS to meet people and learn about events while I was living in Medellin, Colombia. I've just returned to Canada and am not sure if I'm staying or going and moving around a lot...so I can't really commit to participating much now but I hope to again in the future once I'm either settled in Canada or travelling again.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went to a couchsurfing event that turned into a birthday party...for me! Awesome...I'm convinced!
