ABOUT ME
I've just finished up six years of study (BA, BCom & Dip. Mus) and am looking forward to visiting some new places and catching up with family and some old friends and hopefully make some new ones. I'll be spending about four months in the middle of this year studying Arabic in Jordan; I think it's really important spend some time learning another language.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed on three couches in Spain, France and Norway: each was a different experience but I enjoyed them all and met some great people.
I'm always happy to meet up with travellers in Melbourne although I'm just about to head off for a year or so.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed in Spain, France and Norway. Recently attended a meet in Bangalore during a lightning-quick stopover there; it was great fun!
Interests
I enjoy playing and listening to music, reading, cooking, quiet beaches and mountains. Also telling Dad jokes which is a bit premature.
It's always nice to meet new people and exchange experiences and wisdom!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Children of Men, Welcome, Taste of Cherry, The Trip
Books: I really enjoy reading and have been trying to read a bit more relating to my studies. I just bought a Kindle and feel a bit dirty for it!
Music: I like listening and playing classical music, and enjoy Rachmaninoff and Rimsky-Korsakov's work. I've played the flute for 15 years, although a bit less over the last year.
I also like contemporary music such as Beach House, Vampire Weekend, Fleet Foxes, Portishead, Radiohead and hip hop (Mos Def, Blackstar, Nas)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's difficult to pare my life's experiences down to a singular moment. I can say I've been very lucky to spend moments, and longer, with fantastically genuine people from many places and many walks of life.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, China, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
