This is the only platform where you can really feel that the whole world is a family... Hostel and hotel prices are skyrocketing nowadays and social contact within these facilities has seen better days. Moreover it is more difficult to meet the locals. Therefore I use couchsurfing as new form of travelling, as to exchange stories, knowledge, and other experiences.
