About Me

I am a curious person, who is open to new experiences, thoughts and worldviews. I enjoy talking to people and living one moment at a time when I'm travelling. My friends would say I'm calm, hard to anger and reflexive. I can agree with that, but I have a lot of energy to channel out, which I do the most I can.

CURRENT MISSION: Travel the world, of course!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new fellow travellers, and to share a little of our feeble existence with other souls.

Interests

I have a long list of interests, maybe too many. To begin, I play guitar (acoustic and eletric) since I was 10, I sing and play a little drums. I like to listen to (almost) kinds of music but my favourites are Jazz, Rock, Samba, Choro, Gipsy Jazz, Progressive Rock, etc etc. Second, I love to read and one of the few things I spend money on is books! I enjoy literature (the russians, Herman Hesse), a lot of science (Feynman, many Psychology/Neuroscience authors) and, last but not least, Philosophy (Popper, Nietszche, Plato, Aristotle). I do take a lot of pleasure too in writing. I keep a personal blog and have as dream, of course, the writing of a book!

My physical interests involve sports, cycling in particular. I traveled for two weeks through the Estrada Real, which crosses Minas Gerais and ends at Paraty, Rio de Janeiro. The travelling rythm by bike is just perfect, not as fast as by car and not as slow as by foot.

In general I actively make an effort to keep my curiosity alive, and I feed it with whatever happens to catch my attention, be it Physics or the exploration of a new feeling. Life is just too complex for us to pass by it with our narrow minds closed.
