ABOUT ME

I'm a very calm and "peaceful" person, responsible and rather tidy. :) I might come off as shy from time to times, but am still social, and I like getting to know new people! Crazy about sports and music (best when combined!). Love horses, and of course all the other animals as well. And I'm pretty much always in a good mood. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Well this is certainly my favourite motto:
"Take risks - if you win, you'll become happy. If you lose, you'll become wise."
I always try to take my chances. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only one couch surfing experience, from the fall 2013 when I spent 4 nights in Paris, and was hosted by a very sweet French girl. :) It was a good experience, though I might've been a little shy in the beginning, since it was my first experience. :) But I look forward to having more, and also look forward to hosting people (preferably females) if they visit Finland! :)

Interests

A lot of sports!! I'm used to exercice about 5 to 6 times a week, and I really enjoy it a lot (never have to force it, which wouldn't work anyways)! Especially BODYSTEP! In addition to that, I like playing the piano and listening to music, a LOT. And I'm generally really interested in foreign languages, geography, climate, nature, and so on. :) And I have a special passion for everything French and/or Canadian (or Canadian French ;))! I consider myself quite a curious mind in general. :D

Update January 2019: Nowadays I've had to cut down the sports a little bit as I've found my childhood passion, horses and horseback riding again, so that takes care of my weekends. :D

Music, Movies, and Books

There are tons of musicians that I love: Céline Dion (she's my biggest idol for the past 21 years, so I have a very special "bond" with her ;)), Daughtry, Joyce Jonathan, Pink, Carrie Underwood, Lifehouse, Parachute, Andrew Belle, Bruce Springsteen, Keith Urban, Patricia Kaas, Kelly Clarkson, Coldplay, Nickelback... and some Finnish musicians.

As for movies, my favourite movie is Amélie, and a bunch of "romantic" drama or comedy movies (that's the kind I enjoy the most); Notting Hill, Sleepless In Seattle, Something's Gotta Give, You've Got Mail, As Good As It Gets and also Australia, Crash, The Green Mile, Far From Heaven, and what else.. oh yes Mamma Mia! Well, there are tons of good movies too. Horror films are not for me.
