About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To give back to Couchsurfing as much hospitality as we received during our travels.
ABOUT ME
I travel a lot for work, and I always try to get to know the *real* place I'm visiting by meeting the actual people who live there. Couchsurfing enables that connection. I love to learn new things and meet new people.
PHILOSOPHY
You get 80 years on this rock (if you're lucky); make 'em count.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been surfer, then host, now surfer again. CS is a great community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My son and I couchsurfed through all 50 states from 9/2009 to 5/2010. Back in my youth, I hitchhiked around New England and Europe, relying on friends, generous strangers, empty barns, and youth hostels for places to sleep. For the past seven years we're been CS hosts.
