I'm a mellow and easygoing half Peruvian, half American chica married to a Syrian with a bad sense of humor.

I can't hear very well, but I am crazy about other languages. The kicker is that my three siblings, all of whom can hear well, refuse to speak Spanish.

I like listening to people talk about politics (although I am usually quiet when I listen). I'm interested in learning how to cook South American cuisine, and carpentry. I'd love to build a house someday.

One of my goals in life is to actively teach about the Middle East.
