Interests

Love to be active and doing things or visiting at home rather than sitting around in a restaurant talking. I'm interested in learning what is important to others, what should happen in the future, what is happening around the globe, protecting our individual freedom and the freedom of others from the tyranny of the majority and the elite, protecting our property rights, and how to best help all mankind and injure no one. At home it is fun to have a movie night every so often, where a few of us friends get together, someone brings a dinner, someone else brings a good movie, and we really enjoy hanging out together.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies are fun to watch, especially romantic comedies like Ruthless People and suspense crime drama. Favorite movies right now are Atlas Shrugged (Part I, II, III), and The Fountainhead. I have these on DVD player and love to rewatch them with guests. Youtube, Netflix, Amazon movies available.

Relax to classical (baroque) and solo piano music. Love listening to all types of music, have Amazon music available.

I never have enough time to read all the books I want to read. Favorites include Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, and books about freedom, inspirational, motivational, value investing, mysteries, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed in a guest house in Hong Kong.

Canoed down a rough whitewater river in California through humongous rocks where a photographer wanted us to risk our lives and canoe a dangerous run again so as to get pictures to feature in his calendar.
