ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Garnett, Kansas, USA. After high school I ventured up north to Minnesota and I am currently studying apparel design and retail merchandising at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities.

I am currently studying and interning abroad Fall semester 2012 in London, England. Throughout this time I hope to explore much of the UK and Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

I am very laid back and down to earth. I love living, laughing, and learning. I am very dependent and self sufficient. I believe it is important to always have goals and a positive attitude.

I believe that small, thoughtful acts of kindness make the world a better place. I strive to be a Daymaker (one who makes others' day) by performing such acts of kindness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran my first marathon (26.2 miles) on May 6, 2012. It was an amazing experience to overcome such a physical, mental, and emotional battle. It was truly an invincible feeling to cross that finish line and throughout the training I grew to respect myself more and more for accomplishing such feats.

I love learning about history from those who have lived it.
