ABOUT ME

I'm moving to As, Norway for Graduate School this Fall. I'm moving from Austin, Texas in the United States. During college, I spent a semester of college in Argentina, a summer in Alaska and a Spring in Argentina. I have been a Cross Country Tour Guide in the United States. I live in South Korea for two years and backpacked through South East Asia for 5 months. In Korea I bike toured, in Austin I rock climbed and in Norway...I have a lot of ideas. Haha.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am moving to Norway and am nervous about starting over again and about the cost of living. I'll be a short train ride from Oslo and would love some friends in the city. I also will be on a very strict budget, so an offered couch would be much appreciated.

I am a big anime and sci fi nerd. Nothing gets me more excited than a talk about TV and movies. My face will light up...but I am embarrassingly ignorant about European cinema.

Every time I see a good view of a city or scenery it is the most amazing thing I've seen. My mind can't comprehend the vastness of it and all I can process is the beauty. I think my sure iron will to travel coming from the background that I do is so far my greatest achievement. I'm proud that I've done many things, even though they scared me. A few of them include white water rafting, sea kayaking and ice climbing on a glacier. Thru hiking 60 miles of the PCT alone and inexperienced. Leading camping tours across America to many places I'd never been while pulling a trailer and driving a 15 passenger van.

I want to learn absolutely anything you are willing to teach me. I have a random assortment of knowledge on politics, history, philosophy and any other social science. I'm always looking to expand my knowledge and share what I've learned as well.
