About Me

I am originally from Yogyakarta, yet I currently live in Surabaya due to the job I have and stay in a boarding house. Since it has A RULE FOR NOT ACCEPTING OTHERS ASIDE FROM FAMILY MEMBER(s), I am UNABLE TO HOST. Yet, meeting up may be possible if I have no tight schedule.

CURRENT MISSION

earn more-continue my study-go around the world! :)

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going person(quite random sometimes) and I love to have chit chat about any kind of experiences (travelling-studying-cooking-music,anything!). I can say that I'm not a party animal, drinking few sips/moderately is fine by me. I like sightseeing either on foot or by bike or any other vehicles, chewing specialty snacks, sipping a cup of coffee,or attending some music festivals/concerts from certain bands,,that's what I call as party (sorry for having weirdo side😬). Anyway, I do really want to travel and explore every single unique spot in the world! Therefore, I work hard to gain my saving ,travel and make friends as much as I can! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew this site from another social media then joined it because maybe someday I'll go somewhere and need help from someone....and wanna help back as the returns :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

hosting a stranger?it was indeed strange at the beginning, yet I seem to consider it interesting after I did that once (with fortunately nice surfers😅). Afterwards, I guess I can do that again but it depends on my schedule and the profile who asks for the couch.
I also have met some friends from couchsurfing then strolled around my hometown looking for nice view, good food, and not to mention stories as well as knowledge which I think is precious. Since I live farther from my hometown at the moment, it may be nice to explore Surabaya and its surroundings.

Interests

-music? I do love rock and metal, yet I listen to other genres as well

-never leave your belly with hunger a.k.a food/culinary is something that easily catches my attention especially the specialty dish from certain places.
languages, arts, movies, sports, some books (a bit picky about the ones mentioned in the last)

-I like attending some events held in my hometown like street art performance, local annual events, art exhibition, culinary exhibition and so on. Attending certain concerts is also one of my hobbies as mentioned previously

-swimming,,used to do zumba but not for now as I diagnosed with early-slipped disc (HNP). don't ask me to dance, that's one thing that I will give up immediately as soon as you ask me to do🙃

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: mostly horror,action,comedy..my favs are The Ring (Ringu, japanese version IMO is far away better than Hollywood's),The Reign of Assassin (Jianyu,in chinese), Warkop DKI (comedy from Indonesia!), and Mr.Bean

music: I'm into rock,metal,alternatives...but I listen to others as well :D
(p.s. I used to be a big fan of Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, and A1!😄)

books: thriller-mystery-detective-horror-cooking receipe(??😁).my favs are: Tokyo Zodiac Murder, Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde, Frankenstein, The Crooked House by Agatha Christie, and some cooking recipes in local tabloids/magazines (pretty random,I know 😅).

I also watch anime a.k.a japanese animation (Doraemon,Samurai X, Saint Saiya, Meitantei Conan, Bleach, Naruto, Saiyuki, etc), read manga a.k.a japanese comics (some are the same as the anime I have mentioned), and watch movies. I like watching documentary or movie screening made by local artists/film students.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Strolled around Tokyo after conference stuff was over, found Izakaya on the kinda dim alley and it became somewhat I enjoyed though I frequently used google translate🙈
-Attended my fav bands live shows in other countries on my own and it was surprising. I went back with bunch of friends after the show! I was not totally alone😁)

I can teach you Indonesian and Javanese Language as well as the customs and any information you need.hopefully I don't mislead you,,

I enjoy learning languages, exploring arts-culture-customs-local life of certain places and anything unique :)
I wanna learn any new things from your culture, customs, and life experiences maybe?

Share?I share things that can be shared properly😅
(p.s. I can share some hommie food from my hometown,I'm good at making traditional super spicy chili sauce a.k.a sambal😁)
