ABOUT ME

Calm. Sometimes talkative, sometimes reserved, but always respectful. Quite quiet :) But mostly: HAPPY, trying to enjoy everything I do and everyone I meet.

I'm interested in lots of things, but I just can't keep the focus on only one of them. I love sporst, music and books, and mostly I love travelling. I practice yoga daily, so don't be surprised if I ask you for a little bit of space to unroll my mat :) I used to climb and do mountaineering, and I'm the kind of traveller that loves to visit hidden places. I love meeting people, but I am quite individual too. My favourite waste of time is reading books in some beautiful place in nature, talking to interesting people, learning languages and listening to a good music. I'm not a party person at all, although I love spending time in a nice company with a glass of wine or two :)

I was raised by musicians, and I've always loved to sing. I also play the piano, or let's say I used to play it, but it's been a very long time since that, so please don't ask me to play it for you :)

The thing that really changed my life was leaving my home in Ljubljana at the age of 20 and starting a new life in Granada, Spain. It was an amazing six-year experience that really made me grew as a person. I learned a lot about other cultures, met a lot of beautiful people, but mostly I learned a lot about myself. Unforgettable.

The biggest thing I learned in my life is that I have to be aware that every moment I live will never come back, that's why I try to enjoy every single day, learning something new, doing something special and spending time with people I love.

PHILOSOPHY

Caminante, son tus huellas
el camino y nada más;
Caminante, no hay camino,
se hace camino al andar.
Al andar se hace el camino,
y al volver la vista atrás
se ve la senda que nunca
se ha de volver a pisar.
Caminante no hay camino
sino estelas en la mar.

Antonio Machado

Wayfarer, the only way
Is your footprints and no other.
Wayfarer, there is no way.
Make your way by going farther.
By going farther, make your way
Till looking back at where you've wandered,
You look back on that path you may
Not set foot on from now onward.
Wayfarer, there is no way;
Only wake-trails on the waters.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I created my CS profile not a long time ago, but I hosted some people with my boyfriend in Ljubljana and it was super great! :) I am currently on a "world trip" and I only participate by surfing. I met some really wonderful people througn CS, and most of them became my good friends. For me, CS is about making friends, interacting with different cultures and experiencing the place you visit in a totally different way.

Climbing. Hanging in the middle the the abyss with an amazing view, knowing that my life depends on the person belaying me below.

The Chichen Itza pyramide.

My experience when first leaving my home to live in Spain. First months were awsome with many, many ups and downs :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I'm a Spanish teacher, I can teach you Spanish. And I'd like to learn anything, so if there is something you can teach me, do it! :) Oh, and I can also teach you yoga :)
