ABOUT ME

I love to challenge others to achieve their goals.

I apply that in all aspects of my life, whether I'm teaching martial
arts (Krav Maga Federation), helping female entreprenuers work on their businesses or guiding people on outdoor trips and adventures. Right now I'm also studying for a doctorate in physical therapy, learning how to help others heal after injuries, to be their cheerleader and make them do more than they ever thought possible.

I follow the same philosophy in my personal life: I push myself to try my best, to be open new experiences, to learn new skills and to tolerate my discomfort in the face of the unknown instead of shying away from that exploration. It's the best way I know to enjoy what time I have in this world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My former roommate Michael Muller and I hosted CouchSurfing potlucks on the Upper West Side for a while -- I love love LOVE meeting all the travelers who are coming thorugh NYC, helping people make connections and hearing all their stories.I'm also hoping to travel to South America and to Asia at some point and hope that CS will prove to be a useful tool for those adventures!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sunrise and sunset and the stars overhead in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, on a sailboat far away from land. Moving through such a stark and beautifully unforgiving environment is very humbling.
