I breathe, I ride, I make art and do these with a genuine search for joy and truth. Currently I am working on a long term photography project and will be traveling a lot. I have just opened up my home to fellow adventurers. Hoping very much to meet some amazing people along the way.

Yes to all three but haven't seen a movie in the theater in years.

I reread a lot of books. Probably have read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance 8 times. Cormick McCarthy is a favorite, reading All the Pretty Horses right now. On the Road by Jack Kerouac is apparently required reading around here and I've read it too. Yes, I even love Time Traveler's Wife.

When people say I love all types of music I am suspicious they don't actually love any. I love all types of music. I spent too much of my youth sneaking into R.E.M. shows in Athens, GA dive bars like the 40 watt. I'm pretty eclectic from bebop to americana, from dance to baroque... As long as it isn't completely shallow. Currently my theme song is Island in the Sun by Weezer, ask me and I'll sing it really badly for you.

I've seen a snowflake fall in my eye, smelled a rainstorm in the mountains, tasted my own blood after a fight, felt the heat from my lover's hands on a winter day and heard my breathing after a long hard run. Everything else is trivial...

oh I did have an experiment on the Space Shuttle if that's more appropriate here.
