ABOUT ME
I'm Reb, I enjoy putting my feet up in a cafe, opening a book, smelling the aromas of freshly ground coffee, absorbing the words before I have to pop outside for a quick smoke!
I like meeting friends old and new, finding a sunny spot and sipping wine or sampling different beers whilst sharing stories.
Then there are days when I feel like walking, anywhere will do, my favourite, well it has to be the coastline.
Sometimes I like to be prepared,
sometimes just go on a whim.
I hate to be late, sometimes I am but I hate it and I definitely strive not to let friends down.
I am a vegetarian, trying to learn new recipes to keep me healthy .... I could just live on cheese, bread and wine but I think I need to broaden my knowledge of good foods!
I am trying to run at the moment...every step at a time!
I like wine, cheese, coffee, chocolate and the list goes on, basically anything that is bad for you. I know its all in moderation but when it comes to the above, stop, seems to leave my vocabulary!
Above all I am a good friend, for that moment, for a year or for a lifetime.
PHILOSOPHY
Smile at a stranger.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couch surfed in China which was brilliant because I met some wonderful people and got to know the place from a locals perspective. Meeting people for a chat and coffee has been wonderful as I have then explored and really got a feel for the place.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love books, especially the ones that absorb you and suddenly the day had flown by in a tangle of words. I like thrillers, romance (not a huge fan of Mills and Boon though), autobiographies and those random books that get passed on and recommended.
Music for me is always changing, I am not very music aware, I never know whose in the top ten? the latest big band? or the up and comings? So I rely on the good knowledge of friends to introduce me to new bands! I do like the golden oldies, the likes of Fleetwood Mac and such, and well the 60's, 70's are always good for a bit of a shake on the dance floor!
Films, chick flicks, action etc but my newest interest is in documentaries. I found a development resource centre and there I have been opening my mind to what is/has been going on around the world without my knowledge.
And lastly tv, well, mmm, yes I can be a bit of a telly addict given half the chance! Quick turn it off before I go square eyed!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming with whale sharks in WA, absolutely amazing, it just blew me away! I was so excited before we got in the water i was pratically hopping on one leg, i was so nervous i started to babble but once i got in the sea and saw the gentle giant coming towards me i just fell in love. WHAT an amazing creature and WHAT an experience!
