About Me

Hi~ my name is Rebecca and I live a simple, and beautiful life with my dog Sylo in the incredible Colorado. I spend most of my time enjoying the simple pleasures in life... sitting by the river, taking a dip, collecting wild herbs or searching for them, finding rogue fruit trees or hidden treasure spots, long walks, decadent meals, good movies, better books... life is good when you take it easy:) I travel as much as I can and love to explore areas near by.. this Earth is miraculous and ever-giving!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing to socially connect with other travellers as I am on the road. I spend most of my time camping as I travel, so reconnecting with people is so refreshing and good for me. I plan on buying land and building a home soon, and I cannot wait to have surfers come through my home!

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many! Last books I have read are Wuthering Heights, Desert Solitaire, and Healing With Whole Foods, The Agony and the Ecstasy.. In my cd player is The Burns Sisters (random thrift store grab) and.. I recently watched Fantastic Mr. Fox, Chocolat, and True Grit... amazing movies!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left everything I knew in life to move to Colorado.. Which then showed me the beauty of this land.. Which then left me curious~ what else is out there, or even around me?? I got rid of most of my belongings, packed my car, left Colorado and hit the road with my dog. I spent 4 solid months back-country camping around the Southwest and California, just me and my dog... I backpacked around Costa Rica for 6 weeks.. while I was there I built and ran a Coffee Shop in the middle of the Jungle at Envision music festival with my partner.. Have seen, learned, ad experienced more than I could ever put into words just in a few short months of camping alone and experiencing another country for the first time in a big way!
