About Me
Hello I'm Rebecca! I'm originally from Seattle, WA, however I now call Lake Tahoe, CA home! I graduated from Eastern Washington University with my BA in Psychology. I am working on getting accepted to graduate school, or may join the peace corp. I would say my greatest passion currently is traveling, environmental issues and helping those in need. I moved to Central America last year to volunteer in the mission field fighting the human trafficking trade prevalent there. I then moved to Australia for their snow season at Perisher and Thredbo resorts. My next travels are taking me to Europe! I plan to bring only one backpack and take trains from Northern Europe, starting in Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark then slowly making my way down to Greece over the span of two months! I'm looking for friends doing similar travels who would be interested in joining for sightseeing, hiking, experiencing culture, enjoying music, local food and drink, etc!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to meet other travelers as well as locals while I am backpacking through Europe! I would love to meet people interested in outdoor activities, hiking, sight seeing, music and good food; and to learn information and recommendations from locals on places to go, the best and cheapest way to get there, and where to stay either with a couchsurfers hosting or cheap hostel options.
