Heard so many good things about couchsurfing, I decided to give it a try.

I was in South America from January, first volunteering for a charity in Northern Peru and then travelling around Colombia. Now back in the Uk!

I love learning new things, getting fresh perspectives and finding out how other people live. Deep conversations over a bottle of wine on life, love and spirituality is definitely my thing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hostels take up a big portion of a travellers' budget, so Staying on someone's couch for free is very appealing!

Secondly and just as important, I really like the idea of staying with a local for a more genuine experience and to learn what is often not available on the gringo trail.
