I'm Rebecca Dustmann, 21 years old.
I'm from Germany and I grew up in a small town in NRW. I am a vegetarian for 5 years because I don´t want to support mass animal husbandry. I am engaging in the vegan diet for over a year. I like to walk in nature and like to get to know the different cultures of other countries and people. I like to support volunteer work with children or in nature conservancy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very interested in to get to know the people and cultures of different countries.
In my opinion you get to know the people and culture better when you are living together with an inhabitants.

Interests

At school I learned English and Russian. I always enjoyed learning Russian and always had the desire to live in Russia for a longer time.
This year, I made this wish true and was in Russia for 3 months to improve my language skills.
In my childhood, I have often traveled in many different countries during the summer holidays. I have no memories of many of my trips. However, I find it very interesting to get to know the people and cultures of different countries. That's why I want to make a world trip.
I am also very interested in music. I sang in a choir for several years and learned to play the piano. I want to learn to play the guitar to make music with others. I like to listen to the musician on the street.
For several years I have been a member of a social child and youth organization. Here I volunteer at tent camps and in social children's institutions. I really like the volunteer work and I like to help.

At school I Iearned English and Russian. I am now in Russian to learn the language and want to help with learning English or German.
