Hey so my best friend Bethany and I did an 80 days around the world trip visiting India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, San Fran, LA, Vegas and Rio. Now I work for the travel company that helped us with our flights and I'm slowly making my way around the rest of the world.

Okay where do I start - I have half of a dance degree (competition is not my strong point), I'm a qualified nursery nurse, I have a BSc in psychology, I run my own health and wellness business, I am a wine ambassador and can tell you anything you need to know about wine, I've been a children's acting coach, teaching assistant, bar maid, cocktail maker, dancer, singer, actress, trapeze artist, cheerleader, research assistant, I've worked for all of the top car dealerships around the UK and I taught myself to palm read.

I got into climbing around a year ago when my best friend Luke dragged me to the climbing centre and I've fallen in love with it so if you're into extreme sports hit me up! I'm always ready to try something exhilarating - I love heights and the feeling of vulnerability.

These days our occupations seem to define us (which I hate, like why cant we introduce ourselves like "Hey I'm Rebecca and I like to climb" rather than define ourselves by job title? Damn you social standards!).

I began veganism very abruptly at the end of November last year, I was quite shaken by how much I had been lied to so I cut off all animal products within 3 days. The truth is harsh and I can't understand how people ignore the suffering for the taste but each to their own.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

After meeting such amazing people on my 80 day trip around the world and learning so much more about the areas I was visiting I'd like to keep surfing.

My next venture in Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam from the 19th August to the 22nd. I like to do as much as I can when I have a bulk of free time.

Intereses

My interests include psychology, dancing (I can teach you salsa), reading, palm reading, chess playing, swimming, rowing, bouldering and climbing, I try to cook. I love the beach, it is the most peaceful place on earth, I love all animals and have two dogs of my own so if you have pets I'd gladly hug them until i leave. I love food and getting to know different types of food, i will literally try anything as long as it's vegan. I am a wine ambassador and love all wine.

I can palm read and have a wide knowledge on personality types and most things related to psychology. I write poetry and song lyrics in my spare time. I love chess, sudoku - anything that challenges the mind really.
